Mac OS X Lion에서는 패러렐 데스크탑 (Parallel Desktop 6)이 하드웨어 가상화 (Hardware Virtualization)를 지원하지 않는다는 이유로 실행이 되지 않습니다. 이것과 관련된 해결 방법 포스팅을 제닉스님께서 자신의 블로그와 트위터를 통해 널리 알려 주셔서 많은 분들이 패러렐 데스크탑을 잘 활용하고 있습니다.

저도 이 포스팅을 보고 Mac OS X Lion DP2에서 패러렐 데스크탑을 잘 사용하고 있는데 전 맥 초보인 관계로 다른 분들보다 위의 문제를 해결하는데 있어서 좀 더 시간이 걸린 것 같습니다. 그래서 저와 같은 맥 초보자들을 위해서 위의 포스팅을 보고 초보자들이 따라할 때 주의해야 할 점 몇 가지를 더 알려드리고자 합니다.

주의사항 1: 아래 명령어 입력시 한줄 입력하고 엔터 (리턴), 그래서 총 3번의 엔터가 필요함

주의사항 2: 타임머신 스냅샷 설정 변경시 실제로 타임머신을 실행하는 것이 아니므로 과감하게 체크 해제해도 됨

패러렐로 Windows 를 실행하면 (디폴트옵션으로설정된경우) ReadyBoost 가꺼져 있습니다.

레지스트리편집으로 다시 켤 수 있지만 패러렐 종료 후 다시 띄우면 다시꺼집니다.

일단 아래 순서대로 하시면 다시 꺼지지 않습니다. (단점, Windows 처음시작할때약간

느려집니다.) Windows 7 기준으로 설명하겠습니다.

1.패러렐로 Windows 를 부팅해서 첨부된 레지스트리 파일을 실행시켜 줍니다.

2. 컴퓨터관리 (내컴퓨터 -> 관리) -> 서비스및응용프로그램 -> 서비스에서

     Superfetch 를우클릭 "시작" 을합니다.

3. USB 메모리가꼽아져있다면일단뽑습니다.

4. Parallels 환경설정(Preferences)으로가셔서부스트로사용할 USB 가 Windows 으로 되어 있지

   않다면 우측하단에연필클릭하셔서 Windows 로 바꾼 다음 OK 눌러서 적용시킵니다.

5. 패러렐 Windows 쪽으로다시오셔서, 부스트로사용할 USB 를꼽으시고 "내컴퓨터" 열어서

    해당 USB 에우클릭 "속성" 을 선택, "Ready Boost" 탭 설정, "확인"을 클릭하세요.

6. 패러렐에서 Configure를열어서 "Tune Windows for speed" 의체크를 없애고 "OK"

7. 패러렐 Windows 시스템 종료 하시고 패러렐도 완전히 종료시켜 주시고 다시 켜 보면

      ReadyBoost가 잘 작동합니다.
